Highbrow art, lowbrow humour
SATURDAY'S big event will be the Evil Nemesis Show opening reception, which will see veteran photographers Autopilotpatty Poppy and Douglas Story team up.
The pair have created an exhibition in which their artistic talents are mixed with some lowbrow humour, and guests will be kept entertained by ballroom dancing to a live DJ. All attendees have to wear formal dress for the special event, which stars at 3pm in Chi.
Meanwhile, SL5B continues unabated with one of its most important events. Resident Help Groups and the New User Experience, which is happening at SL5B Linked at 6pm, allows residents to listen to panelists discussing the importance of help groups in attracting and retaining new customers for Second Life. Speakers include Profoky Neva and Sumar Morgan.
Rock out
Those who are looking for the weekend to start earlier can also enjoy some top events on Friday. Kelvinblue Oh is an established in-world musician and he has been playing tributes to the legendary Jimi Hendrix since he was only 12 years old. You can hear his interpretation of the rock God's songs at RocknRoll City at 12pm.
A more sedate time can be be found at the Bavarian State Library hosts a lecture in English from Mailo Ethaniel on the subject of "Mass digitalisation at Munich Digitalisation Centre". The Centre has been re-making content for ten years and joined forces with the library in 2001.

Sunday sees Lyn Carlberg take to the stage at Mystery to play a blend of British and American folk music, which has been influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan and Eva Cassidy, as well as traditional Celtic music.
The biggest event of the next week so far promises to be Linden Lab Chairman Mitch Kapor's closing speech, which will end SL5B. Kapor is expected to discuss the importance of the event and the value residents bring to Second Life.
