With The AvaStar feeds (also known as RSS) you can get the latest headlines as we publish them and be the first to know about breaking stories - without having to visit the website!

By subscribing to the feeds of your choice, about Second Life or Entropia, or topics such as news, fashion or entertainment - you can keep up with what's going on in your virtual world everyday.

How do I start using The AvaStar feeds?

To use the feeds you will need a news reader. This is a piece of software that checks the feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added. There are lots of different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications. We've compiled some in our related links for you to browse.

Once you have chosen a news reader, you can decide what content you want it to receive. For example, if you would like the latest AvaStar Style stories from Second Life, simply click on the orange RSS button (or link located here in the middle column).

You can also drag the URL of the feed into your news reader or cut and paste the same URL into a new feed in your news reader.

You can subscribe to as many of The AvaStar feeds as you like, and therefore keep up to date with everything that is going on in the metaverse!

We have also included some links to news readers in the middle column. Make sure you choose a reader that works on your computer.

If you run your own website or blog, you can also display the latest headlines from The AvaStar using RSS.

We are happy for you to use The AvaStar feeds on your website, however, we do require that the proper format and attribution is used when The AvaStar content appears. The attribution text should read "The AvaStar" or "www.the-avastar.com" as appropriate. You may not use any The AvaStar logo or other The AvaStar trademark.
