Giddy up for the Wild West!
FOR two weeks in July the Aurora Gulch in There.com will be teeming with cattle rustlers, bandits and sheriffs during a Wild West-themed party.
The event begins on July 7 with a Wild West trivia contest, which is followed by the grand opening of Aurora Gulch. The Gulch is designed in the style of a barren desert landscape to help members get into the swing of things at the start of the event.
Therians can then enjoy the premiere of Miracle Pictures' machinima Western, made during previous years' cowboy parties, which promises to be an exciting end to the day.
Square dancing
There's designers have been working hard to create fashionable cowboy gear, and their designs will appear at the WWW Fashion Show on July 10, giving Thereians the chance to indulge their cowpoke fantasies and see the latest styles.
The Square Dance on July 11 is the perfect time to dress up in the new gear and have a dance with some friends, with prizes given out for the best dance routines.
Shootout
No cowboy is complete without a trusty steed, and members can saddle up for an epic cross country race on July 12. There will be horses for hire as members vie to finish first and win the race.
Anyone who feels they lost unfairly can vent their frustration on July 20 at the Cowboy Shootout, which will let Thereians play Clint Eastwood and dispense some Western-style justice.
