Customer relations to go virtual
VIRTUAL worlds will revolutionise customer relations, according to Giff Constable, COO of the Electric Sheep Company.
Giff had been invited to speak at the National Retail Federation's annual convention in America when he claimed: “These technologies are going to change the way you interact with your customer, they’re going to change the way people shop, they’re going to change the way you manage your brands.”
Although some company bosses expressed concern that spending money on non-essential experimentation would be risky before an expected economic slow-down in 2008 others indicated that it would be new technology which would help see them through any recession and ensure their firms were well placed to take advantage when the economy picks up.
